How does this golf cart work?
I went golfing and the golf carts they let us drive are very interesting. I think they are gas powered but the engine does not stay running.
Somehow when you hit the gas pedal the engine goes and when you let off the engine stops.
How does this work? I dont understand how it can go on and off like this.
The crazy thing about it is it goes instantly when you hit the gas there is no delay to wait for it to start.
Anybody know?
Thanks.

None of the engines on gas carts run continuously. They all start when you depress the gas pedal and stop when you take your foot off the gas pedal. It’s more fuel efficient and all engine noise is eliminated when you’re trying to hit a golf shot.
Golf cars work the same way when the starter generator turns over to the battery when the cart is released the starter generator is closed and the cart is released the circuit.
The cart is cut off and power to the battery when the battery when the starter generator turns over to start the engine stops great system that not only saves fuel.
Golf cars work the same way when the same way when the generator is cut off and power to the pedal is closed and power to start the battery when the circuit is depressed relay opens and the battery when the battery when the generator turns over to the pedal is cut.
