Lucky Golfer
Lucky people are more likely to create, notice and opportunity to act on opportunities •
sort of qualified people to see the opportunities they arise. His relaxed approach to life helps them to notice what is happening around them. Ironically, by not trying too hard to see that in order to see more. •
lucky people also are not afraid of change and introduce new experiences and the opportunity to act on opportunities.
How can you apply these traits to the way you approach your golf game more likely to have their “luck” on their side?
First, you could develop a ‘more relaxed’ attitude to their game. It is a fact that people want to have a very narrow view of what is happening around them and therefore tend to miss out on opportunities that arise.
lucky golfer ‘is more relaxed about his or her game, and therefore pay more attention to what is going on - the management of their most likely course is that without effort and a great swing will be much easier because they are not in a state of anxiety and that can mess up. So what can be seen as “lucky” is just an ability to relax and play the game without too many expectations. Lucky
golfers are open to new experiences - is not likely to keep doing the same old, same old! Welcomes experimentation and are more likely to try new learning techniques to help them make the changes they need to play better golf.
Many golfers learn techniques that do not always help, but his game, however, have become habitual. Instead of booking a lesson with the golf club professional in his or brushed aside in the minds of the game by reading the “7 Secrets Gail ..” e-book, just doing the same things, but all gone different results. When they see someone get the results you seek is because … “are just lucky!”
Finally, it has been psychologically proven that the human mind loves to “familiarity” and always walk along the beaten path. So even if you have developed a swing that is not helping to improve your game you will most likely continue using the same old methods, despite the poor results.
Often when someone is faced with a playing partner who is playing very well could be that their reaction is because they have had the luck on his side. You may not occur to his fellow golf has been the practice of sound basic skills to ensure their accuracy. That person may have taken some classes and time to really understand how to play better. Often
are almost punished for wanting to do really well and make an effort to improve. This is because there are a lot of people out there not willing to make the effort to improve (of course I am not talking about my readers here.)
It is much easier to label someone as “luck” instead of shedding light on the fact that it was better “prepared” it could have improved our own ; ratio of luck and well done!
hope that what you’ve read this week has inspired you to relax more, do not be afraid to make changes to practice more and to see opporunities and go for them.
I leave with one final thought of Gary Player (who knows a thing or two about golf) - “Work harder than you luck!”
But remember also relax and enjoy!
